CHRISTMAS TIME IN PARIS

The Irish do not celebrate Thanksgiving in Ireland so my Thanksgiving treat was a visit from Grandma and we would fly to Paris, France for the weekend! Since I traveled to Paris the weekend after Thanksgiving, I got to see the wonderful christmas market that they have in Paris! The market consisted of food stands which included desserts like churros and waffles covered in Nutella, as well as grilled food, popcorn and meat markets. The street was lit up with lights throughout the trees and each stand was decked out in christmas lights and decorations. Along with the market stands there was an ice skating rink and a fun house! I really wanted to go ice skating with Christian but I wasn't feeling well so I backed out.

Here are some pictures from the market. I loved seeing the lights and made me even more excited to be back home in Jersey with my family and friends for Christmas!

Having Christian and my Grandma in Paris with me was amazing. They are two of my favorite people in the world and I am so lucky that I got to experience this beautiful city with them. Christian has been improving his photography skills and his creativity is coming out!

He took the picture below of me and I was quite impressed!

Cheers, Nikki
