MERRY CHRISTMAS

Hello Everyone! Merry Christmas!
I am so happy to be home for Christmas, especially since I missed Thanksgiving when I was abroad. Christmas lights are one of my favorite parts of the holiday's and I am so glad that I get to see them every night in my hometown!
This Christmas I did not ask for many things since I just spent the last four months in Europe and spent a ridiculous amount of money over there. Nothing will replace the memories that I have from Ireland and I am so grateful to have been able to travel there.
My Nanny has been sick with cancer for a few years now, and my Grandma is visiting from Florida. My Grandma said something to my Nanny before and it made me very happy to hear. It made me think about good days and bad days that we all have. I have also been really sick a lot recently and I tend to run myself down until I literally can not function. Getting sick all the time can put a damper on things and I tend to get super frustrated. But hearing my Grandma say this one thing to my Nanny who has been fighting cancer for four years reminded me to keep a positive mindset.
She said, "No matter a good day or a bad day, everyday is a blessing."
So I guess this post is not just to share my Christmas outfit, but to remind you to be grateful this holiday season no matter if you get gifts or not, who you spend it with, or if you are having a good or bad day. Everyday truly is a blessing and we are all lucky to be celebrating another year and another wonderful holiday.
Here are some pictures of my outfit that I am wearing today for Christmas. It is actually fairly warm today, 45 degrees I believe! So I was able to get away with wearing a dress and not becoming an ice cube.

The black beaded cardigan was actually my moms from forever ago so I have no idea where it came from but it's one of my favorite pieces in my closet and I've worn it multiple times for special occasions.
